Tonight is the first meeting between the two teams since the NBA Trade Deadline when the Indiana Pacers host the Golden State Warriors. Buddy Hield was traded by the Pacers to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday in exchange for players and draft picks.
They are currently shorthanded and will meet the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry in Indianapolis tonight. Both clubs are 5-5 in their past 10 games played and have won two straight.
The Warriors, according to Pacers centre Myles Turner, “present their challenges because they play different than any other team in the league.” This statement was made on Wednesday. The official starting lineups and injury reports for the game are provided here.
Buddy Hield (traded) won’t be available for the Pacers tonight. Despite being marked as dubious, Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, and Jalen Smith are able to play. With Isaiah Wong not working,
Gary Payton II and Chris Paul were declared out by the Warriors. Both Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green were classified as probables, and both will participate. Due to a sickness, Klay Thompson is a late scratch.
