Cowboys Injury Update: Dallas Says What Will Happen With Stephon Gilmore Before the Wild Card Game Against the Green Bay Packers

The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Washington Commanders on Sunday to clinch the NFC East, despite missing offensive linemen Tyler Smith and Jonathan Hankins (injury) and Zack Martin (sickness) from the starting lineup.

However, Dallas’ seasoned CB Stephon Gilmore was lost in the process as he appeared to have injured his arm against Washington and was sidelined for the majority of the game.

Fortunately for the Cowboys, he personally stated he will return when Dallas plays at home the following week in the Wild Card round.

Mike McCarthy, the head coach of Dallas, declared from FedEx Field on Sunday night that Gilmore is ready to play against the Packers.

Next weekend, the Cowboys will play McCarthy’s previous team, the Packers, in the Wild Card round.

After finishing the 2023 regular season with a 12-5 record, McCarthy’s team made the playoffs for the third consecutive year. Cowboys Nation now hopes that Smith, Hankins, Martin, and Gilmore will be healthy when they play again at A&T Stadium the following week.
