Victor Wembanyama a former NBA player, was detained on suspicion of family abuse and Josh Primo, a former guard for the Spurs, was banished for four games for reportedly “exposing himself to women.”

According to Bexar County arrest records, Forbes was detained and imprisoned on Tuesday on suspicion of third-degree felony assault on a family member by strangling and choking. As of Tuesday afternoon, Forbes, 30, remained incarcerated in the Bexar County Jail on a $7,500 bond, according to a jail official. If he was represented by counsel wasn’t immediately apparent.

According to the preliminary report from San Antonio police, on Monday at 2:17 a.m., officers responded to a call. Forbes is accused of beating a 30-year-old woman who was referred to as “an ex-significant other.” According to the article, the woman was able to Forbes then fled the scene before police arrived and was arrested late Tuesday morning get away and notify police.

In February 2023, Forbes was detained on suspicion of assault causing bodily harm, a misdemeanour, following a verbal altercation that escalated into a violent altercation with a female companion.

Following his time in college at Cleveland State and Michigan State, Forbes played for four teams over the course of seven seasons. He played his first four seasons with the San Antonio Spurs as an undrafted free agent. After returning to the Spurs the next season and signing a free agent contract with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, he was dealt to the Denver Nuggets.
