Recent suspension issues for Arsenal put one star at risk, and Jarrod Bowen will miss the match against West Ham.

After receiving five yellow cards in the Premier League this season, Kai Havertz is expected to miss Arsenal’s match against West Ham on Thursday night. The team will be hoping to escape any disciplinary worries. With hopes of escaping uninjured, the Gunners appear light in many areas throughout a heavy festive fixture list.

Though they are presently in second place, they have a game in hand over rivals Liverpool that might allow them to leapfrog them and secure a trophy victory in May. Aston Villa is also in the running, and a stalemate with the Reds the previous time out keeps things close at the top.

Though they haven’t played at their best yet, current champions Manchester City have a tendency to start the season slowly before picking up steam in the second half.
