Following their game against the Nanaimo Clippers on Saturday, the BCHL suspended three players, leaving the Alberni Valley Bulldogs shorthanded on Friday.

When Fischer O’Brien got into his second fight of the season in the third period on Saturday, he was given a one-game suspension.

In addition to O’Brien, Bulldogs defenseman Mason Croucher received a one-game suspension after his penalty for cross-checking and game misconduct was upgraded to a major by the league office on Saturday.

Croucher and O’Brien can both be added back into the starting lineup when the Bulldogs play the Coquitlam Express on Saturday night.
