After a disastrous NFL season, the head coach of the New York Giants was told to step down.
After losing three of the team’s first four games this season, Giants head coach and five-time Super Bowl champion Brian Daboll has been instructed to resign from his position with the NFL team.
The New York Giants have already begun to ask for Brian Daboll’s resignation.
Following the team’s dismal start to the 2023 NFL season, head coach of the New York Giants, Brian Daboll, is already the target of calls to “resign” at the end of the season.
This season, the Giants have only defeated the Arizona Cardinals by a slim margin of 31-28, and they have also experienced some heartbreaking losses. Given that the squad has lost two of its last three games, supporters won’t be too surprised by the latest results.
The lone victory, which gave supporters some little comfort, came in a 21-19 triumph over the Carolina Panthers in August, but it did little to give the Giants supporters optimism for the upcoming campaign. And now that the team is last in the NFC East, calls have started to emerge for Daboll to step down from the position.Colin Cowherd, the founder of The Volume Sports, has spearheaded the movement with a caustic video message shared on X to his 1.6 million followers. “Coaches are frequently let go by teams before their contracts expire,” he stated. Brian Daboll, please resign at the end of the season. Make an agent call.”
Cowherd continued by speculating that Daboll would be more appropriate for a position with the Los Angeles Chargers. “I know a team that would give up a first-round pick, maybe a couple,” he stated. “Assume a team that consists of their quarterback, left tackle, center who calls the audibles, rush end or two, and receivers.
“The Chargers? Oh, I’m not sure? On the offensive line, in the perimeter, and with edge rushers, they have all the boxes checked. They’ve done a fantastic job drafting.

“I’m not saying Brandon Staley [Los Angeles Chargers head coach] is going to be replaced today if things don’t work out,” he stated.
“Is offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers, Kendall Moore, truly prepared to take on the role of head coach in the NFL? He is an excellent coordinator. I believe you should examine Brian Daboll.”
In his first game as head coach of the Giants in 2022, Daboll led his team to a 21-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans. After enjoying their best start in ten years at 7-2, the squad finished the regular season at 9-7-1 before falling to the in the Divisional Round
Philadelphia Eagles.
