Lee Morris is the latest wide receiver the New Orleans Breakers have added to their roster during the free agency season.
Prior to the Breakers’ Week 3 matchup in 2022, Lee was signed as a backup player and was not included in the USFL draft. Lee got just one five-yard grab on one target during the whole 2022 season.
But things turned out differently in his second season. For the Breakers, Lee participated in ten games, starting five of them. With 305 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 23 receptions, he concluded his 2023 campaign.
After rejoining the Breakers, Lee will have a more robust wide receiver room thanks to the arrival of Cam Echols-Luper, Jonathan Adams, and Dee Anderson.
It would be intriguing to see the Breakers’ QB strategy given their excellent wide receiver corps, including whether they stick with Davis Cheek and Aqeel Glass, who are already on the team. MBT was signed just after the season concluded, so I wouldn’t rule them out of the quarterback market in this free agency.
