Braxton Key’s ban could mean that the Denver Nuggets miss the opening part of the 2023–2024 NBA season.

There is some uncertainty on the duration of his suspension. Many anticipate a protracted sentence, yet some stories downplay the seriousness of his penalty.

According to a recent claim by Sam Amico of Hoops Wire, “league sources have told Hoops Wire they believe Morant will be suspended for no less than the first half of the regular season.”

Although the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets are now tied 1-1 in their series, no decisions have been made as of yet, and it is unlikely that any will be made until after the NBA Finals are over.

Morant’s problems come from his appearance in an Instagram Live video from the 2022–2023 season where he was seen brandishing a gun at a strip club. Because of the event, he received an eight-game suspension during that campaign.

Along with additional incidences and accusations of abusing an adolescent, that video also came to light.
