In last Sunday’s 4-1 win against the Minnesota Wild, Detroit Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat was slew-footed by Wild forward Ryan Hartman.
There was no penalty called on the play (and DeBrincat even received a minor as a result his retaliation, but Hartman ultimately received a two-game suspension from the NHL’s Department of Player Safety.
