Jahream Bula reveals the one change he is making to avoid second year syndrome as the fullback looms as vital cog in Wests Tigers revival.
He is being mentored by a State of Origin legend, has been touted as the next big thing and has been charged with leading the revival of the lowliest club in NRL history, however Jahream Bula remains unphased.
Jahream burst onto the scene in 2023, making his NRL debut with Wests Tigers in the ANZAC Round match against Manly Sea Eagles at Campbelltown.
He would go on to play 18 NRL matches and provide rare highlights as the club picked up its second consecutive wooden spoon, winning the club’s player of the year, players’ player, and rookie of the year awards in the process.
Big things are expected of Bula in his sophomore season, with Queensland State of Origin legend Greg Inglis stepping in to help him deal with the hype.
Inglis, who understands the pressures of being hailed as a future great in the sport, reached out to Bula before the upcoming season.
