Raheem Mostert, a running back, has signed a contract extension with the Miami Dolphins that will go through the 2025 campaign.
In 2023, Mostert achieved his first career 1,000-yard season while shattering the team records for total touchdowns (21) and rushing touchdowns (18). During the year, he gained 1,012 running yards on 209 runs (4.8 average) and 175 yards (7.0 average) from 25 receptions. With his 18 rushing touchdowns, Mostert became the first Dolphins player since Mercury Morris in 1972 to hold the single league record for most running touchdowns. In 2022, he became an unrestricted free agent and joined the team.
After playing at Purdue, Mostert first signed with Philadelphia on May 2, 2015, as an undrafted college free agency. His career totals include 674 carries for 3,513 yards (5.2 avg.) and 32 touchdowns, along with 92 receptions for 738 yards (8.0 avg.) and eight scores. He has participated in 90 games with 38 starts. Additionally, Mostert has made one start in four postseason games while playing for Miami (2023) and San Francisco (2019) in three of them.
