The wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, Rashee Rice, turned himself in to police on Thursday after being involved in a collision involving multiple cars on the North Central Expressway in Dallas. He faces multiple charges, including one count of second-degree felony, which carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison and a fine of $10,000.

Two victims in the collision had minor injuries treatment at the site, while two passengers in another vehicle were sent to a nearby hospital for additional medical attention. He turned himself in on Thursday, was transferred to DeSoto Jail after being arrested at the Glenn Heights (Texas) Police Department, and was then released on bond. According to WFAA-TV, his entire bond was $40,000.

Rice is facing eight total charges. Among them are six counts of collision involving bodily injury, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury and one count of aggravated assault, according to Dallas police.

The latter charge is the most serious, as it is a second-degree felony that could carry a five-figure fine along with up to two decades in prison.
