The New York Knicks announced on Thursday that DaQuan Jeffries and Mamadi Diakite to 10-day contracts. Jeffries has been in and out of the Knicks’ system over the past two years and appeared in 13 games with the NBA club earlier this season. In that (playing just under three minutes a game), Jeffries averaged 0.8 points and 0.4 rebounds while getting most of his work done on the G League level, where he’s putting up 22 and 5.9 respectively in 14 regular season appearances with Westchester.

Diakite, who was also stationed in Westchester and averaged 12 points and 8.6 rebounds in seven games, will be joining Jeffries. Diakite participated in three games earlier this season with the San Antonio Spurs in addition to his 14 outings with the Milwaukee Bucks’ championship team in 2021.
