Premier League Fan XI Nominations for Five Newcastle Stars are as follows…

Five Newcastle United players have been included in the shortlist for the first-ever Premier League Fan XI, following their 4-2 victory over Brentford on Sunday to secure seventh place in the league.

The first XI, picked by supporters, will be voted on before the nominees are chosen. In his first full season with the Magpies, winger Anthony Gordon has netted 12 goals and given 10 assists. Meanwhile, Alexander Isak, who has scored 25 goals in all competitions this season, is on the shortlist. Kieran Trippier and Fabian Schar are also on the list.

Isak is the first player from the Magpies to score more than 20 goals in a single Premier League season since the illustrious Alan Shearer in 2003–04. He is a candidate for both the Young Player of the Year and Player of the Month awards. On Tuesday, May 21, at 9 a.m., voting for the Magpies’ quintet will begin.
