One of the top backfields in the nation is found on the Ohio State football team. In that backfield, TreVeyon Henderson is the leader. He’s returning for his senior season with plenty to prove and will start for a squad that hopes to win a national title. Henderson has experienced several highs and lows in his career. He ran for 1,248 yards and 15 touchdowns as a freshman, earning him a spot on the Freshman All-American team. During his time in Columbus, the five-star prospect appeared to be a surefire All-American.

There have been a few more injuries after that fantastic first year. He hasn’t been able to achieve his desired level of effectiveness. Both physically and mentally, things have accumulated. He recently shared some rather intriguing information during an interview with Eleven Warriors. He stated that sleep paralysis is one of the issues he has been facing. This disorder prevents a person from moving when they are about to fall asleep or start to wait. Henderson has stated that he has dealt with both hearing voices and seeing visions, which are also experienced by many affected.

Imagine being so terrified of dealing with anything similar that you are unable to sleep at all. That is a really difficult task. He also discusses the fact that his numbers dropped during his second season due to a broken foot, as we are aware. Henderson also discusses his mental health and the times he’s considered suicide. He also discusses how he overcame it and adjusted to his current way of living. I really recommend that everyone check the aforementioned link and read the interview; it’s a lovely one.
