Arttu Hyry signs a two-year entry-level contract with the Stars. During the 2023–24 regular season, the 23-year-old played in 55 games for Kärpät in Liiga, scoring 31 points and earning a +19 rating.

The Dallas Stars signed forward Arttu Hyry to a two-year entry-level deal, the team announced Wednesday, according to general manager Jim Nill. The 2024–2025 season will mark the start of the contract.

Hyry, 23, played for Kärpät in Liiga during the 2023–24 regular season, scoring 31 points (14–17—31) and earning a +19 rating in 55 games. Hyry was third on the squad in goals (14), fifth in points, and seventh in assists (17) among leaders.

Hyry also scored three goals (3-0—3) for Kärpät in 11 playoff games. Hyry, a native of Oulu, Finland, played 147 regular season games (27-26—53) with Kärpät from 2020 to 24 and scored five goals (5-0—5) in 22 postseason appearances. Before joining the Stars, the 6-foot-2, 209-pound forward was not selected in the draft.
