The Rams have tendered running back and exclusive rights free agent Ronnie Rivers.
Rivers, 25, played as a reserve running back in Los Angeles’ rotation last season, logging 32 carries for 129 yards in addition to five receptions for 22 yards.
In his two seasons with the Rams, he has totaled 41 carries for 150 yards and 10 receptions for 51 yards.
Any player with fewer than three accrued seasons and a contract that has expired is an exclusive rights free agency.
The athlete is not allowed to negotiate with other teams if his original team gives him a one-year deal at the league minimum (based on his credited seasons).
