Given Stern is the classic shock jock, it stands to reason that he may irritate certain individuals. Granted, a lot of the celebrities with whom he has trash-talked over the years have ignored him. But occasionally, things were a bit too personal, and Stern had to issue an apology as a result.

consider Stern’s brief feud with Jon Bon Jovi. Although some celebrities have expressed their dislike for Bon Jovi, the musician and radio DJ got along well for a long time. When Bon Jovi chose to market his album, “New Jersey,” on radio stations other than K-Rock, where Stern was employed at the time, their friendship took a different course in 1988. UCR claims that Stern gave Bon Jovi a hard time over the phone when he was on the show. “I made fun of him for caving in to the record executives. He was now known as Jon Bon Phoney,” he claimed. Fortunately, the situation was handled really quickly since Bon Jovi expressed genuine regret.

To be honest, we’re not surprised. After all, there’s no disputing Stern has pushed things too far on several occasions. The Bon Jovi episode was one of the few occasions in which Stern was forced to issue an apology.

Howard Stern hurt Adam Sandler’s feelings

The fact that Adam Sandler and Howard Stern genuinely had a years-long rivalry may surprise some as Sandler isn’t often renowned for picking fights with other celebrities. Sandler had the opportunity to speak about the matter on his first visit on “The Howard Stern Show” in 2015, following years of silent conflict.

Howard Stern also body-shamed and humiliated Lena Dunham and she called him out.
