Great job

The Bear Bryant Awards, presented by the American Heart Association, aim to celebrate excellence in coaching while honoring the legacy of the late Coach Bear Bryant. By recognizing coaches like Heupel, the awards also raise awareness and critical funds for heart disease research and education.

As Heupel continues to lead the Volunteers on their path to success, this recognition serves as a testament to his hard work and dedication, further solidifying his status as one of college football’s rising stars. Fans eagerly await the next chapter in his coaching journey.

Tennessee is off to a 4-0 start for the second time during Heupel’s tenure. Heupel secured his 10th victory over a ranked opponent by beating his alma mater, bringing his overall record to 31-12 (.721) in four seasons at Rocky Top.

Tennessee is one of only two teams nationally with two wins against AP Top 25 ranked opponents at the time of their games.

Heupel, a two-time finalist for National Coach of the Year, has a head coaching record of 59-20 (.747) over seven seasons.

The American Heart Association annually—and now weekly—presents the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Awards to recognize outstanding coaching, honor Coach Bryant’s legacy, and generate awareness and vital funds for their mission.
