When Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan referred to his team’s 2023 collapse as an “organizational failure” and emphasized the need to win now, he was serious about it.
Any doubts were addressed at the start of training camp, as revealed in the latest episode of The Hunt released this week.
“About a month ago, we celebrated our partnership with the city regarding the funding for the future stadium,” Khan stated. “During a meeting with reporters, the conversation quickly shifted to football, and I was quoted saying, ‘For us, winning now is the expectation.’ I’ve been eager to clarify this. I was not misquoted. Let me reiterate: winning now is the expectation.”
