Tyson Fury discusses Oleksandr Usyk 2 tactics

Tyson Fury returns back with his only conqueror Oleksandr Usyk on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

missing the opportunity to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the century.

Before the rematch, ‘The Gypsy King’ shared his strategy with Queensberry Promotions, stating, “I believe I need to knock him out; that’s my path to victory.

“The other night, when I was asked about the Joshua and Dubois fight, I explained how each fighter could win. I said that for Dubois, he needed to start strong, hurt his opponent, and finish him within five to six rounds, which is exactly what he did.

“So, that’s how I plan to win.”

Currently, Usyk is favored by the bookmakers, while Fury is listed as a 13/8 underdog. Given how close the first fight was, the odds for a draw are quite low at 12/1.

The last time that Fury went into a rematch after not winning the first fight, he successfully scored a knockout.

In 2018, Wilder held Fury to a draw due to a dramatic last-round knockdown, in a fight that Tyson was largely dominating.

Fifteen months later, Fury stormed out of his corner in their 2020 rematch, backing Wilder up and knocking him down twice before the American’s corner called for a stoppage in the seventh round.

Fury has indicated that he intends to approach his upcoming rematch with the same aggressive mindset, aiming to end the fight early and avoid leaving the decision to the judges again.

With only two months remaining, fans won’t have to wait long to find out what happens next.
