Lewis Hamilton has asserted that Max Verstappen has yet to learn from his past actions after labeling him a ‘dangerous’ driver during their 2021 title battle.
The Red Bull driver is reportedly facing a five-place grid penalty for the Brazilian Grand Prix this weekend due to two incidents involving title rival Lando Norris in Mexico.
As a consequence, Verstappen received a 20-second penalty during the Mexican GP, and McLaren’s Norris referred to him as ‘dangerous.’
‘All you have to do is go back and listen to some of my radio comments back in the day,’ said Hamilton.
‘If I was in the battle I could lean in more to it but you have to ask those two [Verstappen and Norris] because they are the ones that it is affecting.
Verstappen received two 10-second penalties within minutes during the recent race for his actions at Turns Four and Eight.
He was deemed to have pushed Norris off the track at Turn Four, resulting in his first penalty. Later, he forced Norris off again, regaining a position and earning a penalty for gaining an advantage by leaving the track.

In response, Verstappen, who finished sixth while Norris placed second behind Carlos Sainz, stated: “I don’t pay attention to those individuals. I just focus on my own performance. I am a three-time world champion, and I know what I’m doing. I have my own views, and I don’t feel the need to share them.”
